Navy Awards $256.1m in Training and Ed Contracts

The Navy has awarded contracts potentially worth $256.1m to six companies to provide education and training services.  The winners are EG&G Technical Services Inc., General Dynamics Information Technology, Lockheed Martin Corp., Technical Software Services Inc., Raytheon Technical Services Co. and Carley Corp., the Defense Department said Aug. 22.  The companies will provide education and training products and support services for the Navy’s Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education Enterprise program. The Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center in Pensacola, Fla., will oversee the contract work.
